    Patrick is a seasoned Paramedic and Fire/EMS luminary with an illustrious career spanning over 25 years. As the Deputy Chief and esteemed lifetime member of the Western Albemarle Rescue Squad in Crozet, Virginia, he epitomizes unwavering commitment to community service. Additionally, Patrick serves as a Paramedic with the UVA Special Events Medical Management team, where his expertise ensures the safety and well-being of countless individuals.

    His extensive experience includes invaluable stints with the UVA Pegasus Medical Transport Network and the Charlottesville 911 center, where he honed his skills and solidified his reputation as a trusted leader in public safety and emergency response.

    A visionary in healthcare innovation, Patrick's contributions extend beyond the realm of emergency medicine. During his tenure under Population Health at UVA, he spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives as a remote care manager/advocate. Notably, he co-designed the UVA Community Paramedicine Program from inception, achieving remarkable results with over a 70% reduction in ER visits.

    Patrick's passion lies in empowering patients to address both their health and social needs, dismantling barriers to care with empathy and determination. His innate ability to forge meaningful connections enables him to seamlessly navigate patients toward vital resources for sustained support, making a profound and lasting impact on their lives.

Taylor Tereskerz

    Taylor, a Crozet, Virginia native through and through, embodies the spirit of service and dedication in every aspect of his life. As a revered figure in his community, he serves as a beacon of hope and assurance, both as a medic and as Captain and lifetime member of the esteemed Western Albemarle Rescue Squad within Albemarle County Fire Rescue.

    Since 2011, Taylor has been a dynamic force within the rescue squad, actively engaged in frontline operations and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to saving lives. His impressive array of certifications, including Swift Water Rescue, Emergency Vehicle Operator Class III, and Vehicle Extrication, attests to his comprehensive skill set and readiness to tackle any challenge head-on.

    Taylor's expertise extends beyond traditional emergency medicine, with certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), highlighting his dedication to providing top-tier care in diverse medical scenarios.

    Previously serving as a full-time medic with the UVA Special Event Medical Management (SEMM) team, Taylor seamlessly transitioned into a role within Population Health while maintaining his part-time commitment to UVA SEMM.
